Abstract:
PURPOSE:To finely correct a color by the small quantity of correction data by calculating the quantity of correction based on a primary color component, a secondary color component, a tertiary color component and a black color component. CONSTITUTION:Four inputted density values C0, M0, Y0, K0 are converted to density values C1, M1, Y1, K1 in preliminary correcting circuits 1C, 1M, 1Y, 1K respectively. These density values are applied to a special color separating circuit 2 to form the primary color component, the secondary color component and the tertiary color component. These respective color components and the black color component area applied to correction quantity forming circuits 3-6 to form the quantity of the correction corresponding to respective inputs herein. The quantities of the correction are applied to adders 7C, 7M, 7K to add to the density values C1, M1, Y1, K1 and added results are outputted as the density values to be obtained C, M, Y, K respectively.
