To provide a color filter substrate for oblique electric field liquid-crystal display which improves both of tone display and responsiveness, and is capable of high luminance display, transmission display or reflective display, and an oblique electric field liquid-crystal display including the color filter substrate.
The color filter substrate for oblique electric field liquid-crystal display, which is capable of ordinary display of tone display and bright dynamic display, transmission display or reflective display, includes, a transparent substrate, a transparent conductive film formed of the transparent substrate, a black matrix formed on the transparent conductive film which has a plurality of openings having a polygonal pixel shape, a second transparent resin layer formed in the center of the opening in the black matrix, a colored layer formed on the transparent conductive film, and a first transparent resin layer formed on the colored layer.
