Abstract:
PURPOSE: To carry out proper color matching easily by finding an actual color value of a color reference and a predictive color value for a material to be colored after correcting spectral reflectance.
CONSTITUTION: When a combination of plural coloring agents, which are used for coloring a material to be colored the same color as the color of a color reference, is computed by a computer process, an actual color value of the color reference is found on the basis of a spectral reflectance R of the color reference, and on the other hand, a predictive color value is found on the basis of a predictive spectral reflectance (r). In these both computing processes, a corrected spectral reflectance Rα, which is found by adding a difference (a-b) between a spectral reflectance (a) containing a mirror face reflected light in a single coloring sample used for obtaining respective data of coloring agents and a spectral reflectance (b) containing no mirror face reflected light to a spectral reflectance B containing no mirror face reflected light in the color reference, in other words, which is indicated by a formula Rα=B+(a-b), is used for a reflectance R, and an actual color value of the color reference is found.
