Title:
COLOR PICTURE READER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2576311
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the read accuracy of a color picture by arranging a slit member having a prescribed opening and a prescribed light shield between an original face and a projection optical system so as to prevent incidence of noise light into a line sensor.
CONSTITUTION: When a color picture is read through color separation by using a linear blazed diffraction grating 3, a luminous flux from a lighting means 101 radiates onto an original face 1 through a slit member 5 of a glass board comprising a 1st transparent section 5a having a long opening in the main scanning direction, an opaque section 5b having a long light shield region in the main scanning direction and a 2nd transparent section 5c with a prescribed opening. Thus, the original face 1 is efficiently lighted by the lighting means 101 and a light from a point at the outside of the axis is made incident in line sensors 4a-4c to prevent noise light. For example, the color picture is digitally read with high accuracy by, e.g., three color lights R, G, B. Furthermore, the lighting means 101 preferably lights up a color picture via the 2nd transparent section 5c.
