Abstract:
To provide a color filter which satisfies heat resistance required in a color display production process and excels in the color purity and transmittance of blue pixels, and to provide an organic EL display and a liquid crystal display device which satisfy both of high color reproducibility and high luminance by using such color filters.
A colored resin composition for color filters is provided which comprises (a) a binder resin and (b) a solvent and is prepared by dissolving a triarylmethane dye of a specific structure represented by general formula (I). The color filter obtained using the composition, the organic EL display and the liquid crystal display device are also provided.
