Abstract:

To provide a coloring composition for a color filter, the composition having excellent dispersion stability of a pigment and giving a good cross-sectional shape while preventing wire breaking in a transparent electrode.

The coloring composition is a photosensitive coloring composition comprising a resin composition (A), a pigment (B), an active energy ray polymerization initiator (C), an active energy ray-curable monomer (D), and a solvent (E). The resin composition (A) contains a vinyl resin (F) in an amount not less than 50 wt.% on a basis of the whole weight of the resin composition (A); and the vinyl resin (F) comprises, on a basis of the weight of the whole structural units, 2 to 50 wt.% of a structural unit (a) having a carboxyl group, 2 to 50 wt.% of a structural unit (b) having a cyclic structure, and 10 to 80 wt.% of other structural units (c).
