Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable smooth synchronization by manual operation simultaneously with a switching mechanism for merchandise feed width at the upper end of the column and a switching mechanism for merchandise discharge width at the lower end of the column by providing a coupling means for those switching means on only one side of the column.
CONSTITUTION: While a merchandise discharging device 15 is pushed up slantingly, the feed inhibition part of a crank member 20 as an merchandise width setting means is at a position where a thick can be passed. When the part of the merchandise discharging device 16 is pushed up by the hand and elevated along long holes 58 and 64, a longitudinal rod 38 is elevated and the feed inhibition part allows only thin cans to pass. Thus, the merchandise discharging device 16 at the lower end of the column is moved up and down to set both the merchandise discharging device 16 and article feed width setting means 20 for thick cans and thin cans through the longitudinal rod 38 positioned on only one side of the column by one-touch operation.
