To provide a regenerating method for a column to be used in high- speed liquid chromatography(HPLC) and offer a regenerated column formed by the method.
A used column 1 of the liquid chromatography (HPLC) is washed, and the contaminated part of a filler 2 in the column inlet part which is filled with column filler is removed so that a void K of 2-20mm deep is formed, and then a rod-shaped inactive porous rod 7 having a number of holes of 2-10μm in diameter is set in a jet nozzle 5 of a jetting structure whose tip jet bore is made to suit the inside diameter of the column approximately. The tip jet of the nozzle 5 is set to the column inlet 3 and the contaminated part of the filler 2 is removed, and the rod 7 is fitted by pressure into the void formed thereby so that its whole space is filled, and the rod portion on the nozzle sider is cut off upon setting the rod to suit the tip of the column inlet 3.
