Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide combination of an oxidant and a photoactivator for the healing of wounds.SOLUTION: It is highly desirable to provide a novel composition for the healing of skin damage and wounds in order to not only destroy bacteria but also to improve and accelerate a healing process following the establishment of pathologic lesions, trauma or injury. There is provided a wound healing composition which comprises at least one oxidant, at least one photoactivator capable of actuating the oxidant and at least one healing factor chosen from hyaluronic acid, glucosamine and allantoin in association with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.SELECTED DRAWING: None
