To solve the problem of causing an increase in exhaust resistance and a fall in engine output because a DPF (a diesel particulate filter) which is an exhaust emission control device cannot be appropriately regenerated when temperature drops.
The combine harvester is constituted by forming an engine compartment 18 in front of a grain tank 5, and providing the DPF 16 for collecting particulate matter in exhaust gas, at an intermediate part of an exhaust pipe 14 connected to an engine 11 in the engine compartment 18 for driving a travel device 2, a thresher 3, and a reaping portion 4. The DPF 16 is disposed behind the engine 11 and in a space 17 between the grain tank 5 and the thresher 3 so that the flow direction of exhaust gas inside the DPF 16 is along the front/back direction of a machine body, and the DPF 16 and the engine 11 are integrally surrounded.
