Abstract:

To prevent from occurring the event that the combustion stability of an internal combustion engine is impaired.

This combustion chamber structure comprises an ignition plug 20 having a center electrode 21 at one end protruded toward a combustion chamber 11 of the cylinder injection internal combustion engine 10, and a fuel injection valve 19 for injecting fuel pointing to one end of the ignition plug 20. It has an injected part 23 formed at one end of the ignition plug 20 near the center electrode 21 between the center electrode 21 and the fuel injection valve 19 for receiving the fuel injected from the fuel injection valve 19, and a communication part 26 formed on the injected part 23.
