To reduce incinerated residue of a material to be burned by suitably regulating the air for a primary combustion and the air for a secondary combustion with a simple constitution, completely burning the material and dry distilled gas, and suppressing the generation of harmful components in an exhaust gas.
The combustion controller for an incinerating furnace comprises the furnace having a primary combustion chamber for dry distilling a material to be burned and a secondary combustion chamber for burning the dry distilled gas, an air supply means for a primary combustion, an air supply means for a secondary combustion, a temperature detecting means for detecting the exhaust gas temperature of the secondary chamber, and a control means for controlling the operation of the supply means for the secondary combustion so as to supply the air for the secondary combustion of an initializing value when the temperature detected by the detecting means is a set temperature or lower in burning the distilled gas by dry distilling the material without supplying the air for the primary gas to the primary chamber in the secondary chamber or to increase or decrease the air for the secondary.combustion in response to the change in the exhaust gas temperature exceeding the set temperature.
