PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device which enables stable rapid combustion of a fuel gas.SOLUTION: A combustion device 100 includes a tubular burner body 10, a gas supply part 30 which discharges an oxygen-containing gas, and a side wall part 22 which projects further forward than the burner body 10 and a tip of the gas supply part 30 on the outer peripheral side of the gas supply part 30. The side wall part 22 is provided with at least a pair of fuel pipes 18 which are arranged so as to face each other across the burner body 10 and discharge a fuel gas. The discharge direction of the fuel gas of the fuel pipe 18 can intersect with the center axis direction of the burner body 10 at the forward side of the burner body 10. The gas supply part 30 is partitioned by a flow rate control member 32 into a first passage and a second passage where the flow rate of the oxygen-containing gas is higher than that in the first passage so that the passages are arranged along the circumferential direction, and a discharge port of the first passage is provided closer to a discharge port of the fuel pipe 18 than a discharge port of the second passage.
