A combustion device is constituted of a pump 14, supplying fuel, an evaporating unit 21, evaporating the supplied fuel, a heater 29 for heating the evaporating unit 21, a nozzle 23, ejecting gas evaporated in the evaporating unit 21, a burner unit 31, burning the gas ejected out of the nozzle 23, a conical truncated type evaporating chamber 26, evaporating the fuel in the evaporating unit 21 and whose nozzle 23 side is formed so as to have a smaller diameter than that of a fuel supplying port 28 side, and an evaporating filter 27, formed of corrugated metallic wire elements wound so as to have the shape of a rod and compressed so as to have a conical truncated shape while being arranged so as to be contacted closely to the evaporating chamber 26.
