Title:
COMBUSTION HEATER DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001341519
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce the manufacturing cost of a combustion heater device without impairing the durability (reliability) of a valve.

A first on-off valve 21 for controlling the flow of combustion gas is provided on the combustion gas flow lower reaches of a heat exchanger 18 in a gas passage (a first exhaust passage 146b) where the combustion gas flows. The first on-off valve 21 is thereby exposed to the combustion gas is relatively low temperature heat-exchanged (cooled) by the heat exchanger 18. Consequently, even if the first on-off valve 21 is manufactured of material relatively low in heat resistance, the lowering of heat resistance does not cause the worsening of durability (reliability), so that the manufacturing cost of the combustion heater device (a vehicle heating device and an intake air hating system) can be reduced.
