To provide a communication analysis device which quantitatively determine a network state enabling even a person having no expert knowledge nor experiences relating to communication protocols and waveform signals to easily specify the cause of a transmission fault and a fault occurring part and to take countermeasure against the fault, and which therefore improves the efficiency of analysis work.
A communication telegram transmitted from a transmission line and waveform signals are tentatively stored in a storage means, and synchronized by the acquisition time by a synchronization determination means 108. An analysis waveform information generation means 109 extracts a part corresponding to an ideal waveform signal stored in an ideal waveform information storage means 112 of the waveform signals synchronized with the communication telegram as an analysis waveform signal which is an analysis target. A communication state determination means 113 estimates the communication state of the transmission line on the basis of the result of comparing the analysis waveform signal extracted by the analysis waveform information generation means 110 with the ideal waveform signal stored in the storage means. The estimated result is displayed by an analyzed result display means 114.
