Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus that improves utilization efficiency of memory resources or communication resources.SOLUTION: The communication apparatus receives a broadcasted communication frame including a source address, a non-designated destination address, a designated destination unit address, a source unit address and a metric that is a virtual distance index between an apparatus having the source unit address and an apparatus having a source address. The metric is updated in such a manner that a virtual distance relation between the apparatus having the source address and the apparatus itself is taken into account. The source address is registered and held as a nearby unit address that is a first item of a routing table. The updated metric is registered and held correspondingly to the nearby unit address as a second item of the routing table. If the source address and the source unit address are not equal, the source unit address is registered and held correspondingly to the nearby unit address and the updated metric as an achievable address that is a third item of the routing table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
