Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a communication conference support system which clearly relates the pointers to the users respectively and controls them in a work station conference mode.
CONSTITUTION: In a communication conference system 10, each of user terminals 12, 14 and 16 has a display screen 22 having a common work area. Then portraits of all conference attendants are shown on the screen 22. When a certain user continuously pushes a button 38 of a mouse 24, the line connecting a pointer icon and the user portrait is shown on the screens 22 of other attendant respectively. In this method, it's possible to give the pointer icon control right to one user to enable other users to easily recognize the relation among users controlling their icons while keeping the least number of objects which are shown in the work area.
