Abstract:

To provide a mechanism to transmit data to be transmitted to a transmission destination more smoothly by a communication channel to be used by a communication terminal, by the transmission of a preset type of image data and the inhibition of transmission of a type of image data of which communication is not permitted.

According to the image data types, such as still image data and moving image data, for transmission, a communication channel to be used for the transmission is switched. Each communication channel available for communication is decided to be whether or not a public channel, and moving image data in the image data is transmitted using a communication channel decided to be not a public channel among each available communication channel.
