The information processing system has an information transmitter connected with a predetermined network, and an information receiver for connection with the information transmitter. The information receiver includes search means for acquiring the connection information of the information transmitter and the identification information of the information transmitter from the information transmitter over the predetermined network, output control means for controlling the output of an identification information request sound requesting the identification information of the information transmitter, sound analytic means for analyzing the identification information sound output from the information transmitter in response to the identification information request sound output by control of the output control means, and communication means for connecting with the information transmitter that has output the identification information sound by using the connection information corresponding to the identification information acquired by the sound analytic means, out of the connection information acquired by the search means.
