Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive an image pickup operation even in the middle of communication and to prevent a good opportunity for a photograph from being missed by providing a controlling means that performs control to stop communication by a communicating means and to start an image pickup operation when the image pickup operation by an image picking up means while communication is performed with the outside.
SOLUTION: A processing unit 200 records and reproduces a photographed image by an image pickup unit 100 on a recording medium 300 and transmits it to the outside. A control circuit 102 waits for a release switch to be operated while confirming that it is in an image pickup preferential mode when the image pickup switch of an operating device 108 is on and an incoming call does not come and also even when an incoming call comes. Next, when the release switch is operated, the control circuit 102 instructs an image pickup control circuit 24 to perform distance measurement and photometry, when a photographing start switch is turned on, it instructs the circuit 24 to execute photographing, and the circuit 24 carries out photographing in response to it and stores photographed image data in an image memory 18.
