Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the communication equipment and the communication system by which the state of an opposite portable transmission terminal is automatically recognized without the need of any opeartion by the opposite party.
SOLUTION: When the recall mode is selected, a PHS terminal PS1 designates a PHS terminal PS2 as an opposite terminal and designates a message such as 'arrived at such and such station', a designated condition such as 'entering a specific CS-ID, that is, a specific service area' and an operation to be executed when the designated condition is satisfied. Then the PS1 sets the recall data to a sub address of a setup message and registers it to a server 5. When the PHS terminal PS2 enters a service area of a public base station 2c (designated condition), the server 5 sends a message to the PHS terminal PS1 (designated operation). The PHS terminal PS1 displays the message sent from the server 5 on a display section 19. Thus, the user of the PHS terminal PS1 recognizes automatically it that the user of the PHS terminal PS2 reaches such and such station.
