Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the damage of a skin by an injected molten resin and to improve the degree of freedom of the shapes of a molding by inserting a protective sheet at a position corresponding to the injection position of the molten resin to be a backing in the back of the skin.
SOLUTION: In the back of a skin 2, in the upper vicinity of an arm rest part, a rectangular protective sheet 4 which is made of a porous material, i.e., (mesh-shaped) paper having a large number of through holes having a small opening area, is inserted. The thickness of the sheet 4 is preferably 0.2-1.0 mm, and the opening ratio of all the through holes to the area of the sheet 4 is made approximately 30%. A molten resin R is injected from a gate 14 directly toward the protective sheet 4 on the back of the skin 2. The sheet 4, which is inserted between the skin 2 and a backing 3 by this injection molding, protects the skin 2 from the injection pressure and heat of the molten resin 4.
