Abstract:
To enable a robot to naturally express emotions through tactile stimulation.SOLUTION: A system of the present invention includes a robot and a content presentation device. The robot includes a hand part, a computer, and an actuator, and executes a touch operation for touching a person present nearby by the hand part. The computer acquires a generation timing of an event for expressing predetermined emotions and acquires emotions for expression from the content presentation device (Step S3), sets a calculation condition for expression corresponding to the emotions for expression (Step S7), calculates a touch operation start timing by using the calculation condition for expression with the generation timing as a reference (Step S9), and executes the touch operation by displacing the hand part when the start timing is reached (Step S13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
