PURPOSE: To attain communication near the maximum throughout by forming a reservation packet corresponding to a processing enable speed at the reception side node, allowing the transmission side node to use the reservation packet to send a data.
CONSTITUTION: A node 2 connecting optional number of terminal equipments 1 is connected by a transmission line 3 and a reservation flag is provided to a packet header of a packet and each node 2 is provided with a branch insertion control section 4 including a function applying setting control of the said reservation flag. The reception side node accommodating reception side terminal equipments uses the reservation flag setting control function of the section 4 to set the reservation flag to the packets of the number corresponding to the processing enable speed depending on data quantity in a reception buffer 5 to send the reservation packet set with the reservation flag. The transmission side node accommodating transmission side terminal equipments such as a large capacity file uses the branch insertion control section 4 to identify whether or not a packet is the reservation packet depending on the reservation flag and inserts a data in the transmission buffer 6 to the reservation packet and sends the result. If the reception data quantity is too much, the reservation is cancelled sequentially.
