To provide a communication system capable of improving its communication stability.
The communication system is provided with a chip having a sensor, an identification number, and functional blocks having communication transmitting and receiving functions. Biological materials, chemical substances, and physical and chemical values such as temperature, pressure, and pH are sensed with the sensor, and the sensed results are transmitted to a reader by means of a radio transmitting and receiving function in the communication system. When the sensing results are transmitted in the communication system, frequencies for communication and transmitting output are made variable at a reader side. Thus, stable communication can be performed without influence of variance in quality of chips during manufacturing processes.
