Abstract:

To provide a communication terminal device whose power consumption can greatly be reduced.

A first communication interface 11 is connected to a LAN 3. A processor 12 controls a power supply control unit 15 to stop electric power supplied to a RAM 13, a flash memory 14, and a second communication interface 16 when the link of a first communication interface is not detected or when data transfer is not detected. Then the processor 12 enters a power-saving mode. Consequently, the power consumption can greatly be reduced.
