Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device for an effective power- saving operation, even when an NCU comprises a semiconductor NCU.
SOLUTION: A power-saving call signal detecting means is provided which detects a call signal from the line independently from the semiconductor NCU in the power-saving state. Further, a power-saving control means is provided where, if a prescribed factor occurs for transition into the power-saving state in a normal operation state in which the parts of a device are supplied with an electric power for the intrinsic operation of the communication terminal device, the supply of an electric power to at least the semiconductor NCU is cut off for transition into the power-saving state, and if, in the power-saving state, the power-saving call signal detecting means detects the call signal, the supply of electric power to the semiconductor NCU is resumed to restore to the normal operation state.
