Abstract:
To provide a commutator for an electric-motor superior in wear resistance.SOLUTION: A commutator 10 includes: multiple plate commutator pieces 11; and a rotating support(support) 12 for supporting the commutator pieces. The multiple commutator pieces 11 are arranged on the support 12 along the circumferential surface in the rotation direction. The Vickers hardness of the commutator piece 11 is 150-250HV. At least one of both ends of the commutator piece 11 in the rotation axis direction of the support 12 faces the rotation axis direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
