The commutator 10 includes a body 61 fixed to the surrounding of a rotating shaft 3 and made of a synthetic resin, a plurality of segments 15 juxtaposed along a circumferential direction on the body 61, risers 16 formed on a segment 15 and having an armature coil wound therearound, and a connection line 19 wired between the risers 16 of segments 15 having the same potential among the plurality of segments 15 to short-circuit the segments 15 having the same potential to each other. In the commutator, a brush electrically connected to an external power supply unit slides on the segments 15, thereby feeding power to the armature coil. The connection line 19 is wired around the rotating shaft 3 between the risers 16 of the segments 15 having the same potential.
