Title:
COMPENSATION CIRCUIT OF TRANSIENT TEMPERATURE CHARACTERISTIC IN STRAIN GAUGE TYPE CONVERTER AND ITS COMPENSATION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3534205
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To accurately compensate any transient temperature characteristic attending upon a thermal shock even if the thermal shock is frequently impressed on the sensitive part or strain start part of a converter in addition to a physical quantity to be measured.
CONSTITUTION: Four strain guages Rg1 to Rg4 and a transient temperature characteristic compensation resistor rs1 are all installed at the nonpressure surface side of a diaphragm 10a. A balance resistor rs2 and a zero temperature characteristic compensation resistor rt are installed on a base plate 20. In a bridge circuit formed from these strain guages Rg1 to Rg4, such an output at presenting a large transient temperature characteristic appears whenever a thermal shock is added to the diaphragm 10a, therefore the transient temperature characteristic compensation resistor rs1 negating this output is inserted into one side of the bridge circuit, and likewise the balance resistor rs2 with the same resistance value as the transient temperature characteristic compensation resistor rs1 is inserted into the other side adjacent to this bridge circuit. Moreover, in order to compensate a drift to a slow temperature change in a converter, the zero temperature characteristic compensation resistor rt is inserted into one side of the bridge circuit.
