PURPOSE: To provide a watch of an excellent external appearance with one body impression of both analog and digital units by a method wherein the movement base frame makes up the structure covering the analog unit and the digital unit as well as it serves both as a clearance plate and a dial plate.

CONSTITUTION: This watch consists of the analog-movement part 1 in which time is displayed by the needles 3a and 3b, and the digital display part which is principally composed of the liquid crystal layer 5 attached with both the upper panel glass 6 and the lower panel glass 7. Both the analog part and the digital part are held with a guide of the resin plastic movement base frame 18 which gives this watch an impression to have a structure as if covering both the conventional clearance and digital plates. And further, a lamp 24 is arranged in the center. From this, a clearance plate, the dial plate and the panel guide frame become one body and the partitioned impression between the digital part and the analog part disappears, thus, resulting in one body impression. And further, an even light effect is obtained from the light 24 as well as an excellent external appearance.
