The receiving platen includes a flat receiving surface 3, a suction groove 4 arranged in the receiving surface 3 so as to form an elongated suction chamber C having a smooth wall in the longitudinal direction, and a suction path 5 arranged in the thickness of the platen 2 and ending at a bottom 6 of the groove 4 so that it can be connected with suction means through one of two ends thereof, and can interconnect the suction chamber and the suction means through the other end 5B thereof.
