A first storage chamber unit 20 to cool a storage chamber 20a by a brine cooling type Peltier element 26, a second and a third storage chamber units 21 and 22 to cool storage chambers 21a and 22a by air cooling type Peltier elements 30 and 34; and a fourth storage chamber unit 23 to cool a storage chamber 23a by a freezing cycle containing a compressor 39 and an evaporator 43 have shapes and sizes through which the storage chamber units 20, 21, 22, and 23 can be freely arranged and combined. When the storage chamber units 20, 21, 22, and 23 are combined together, the combinations can be set to temperature zones different from each other, and constitution is effected such that the combined storage chamber units are functioned as a refrigerator having a plurality of storage chambers 20a, 21a, 22a, and 23a being independent from each other so that cold air is not circulated to each other.
