Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pivotal pin that restricts the sensitivity to a magnetic field and achieves the hardness satisfying the requirement for abrasion resistance and impact resistance.SOLUTION: Regarding a metallic pivotal pin having a tenon 3 at each end, the metal is an austenitic steel, austenitic cobalt alloy, or austenitic nickel alloy for restricting the sensitivity to a magnetic field of the pin, and at least the outer surface 5 of one of two tenons is cured to a predetermined depth with respect to the remaining part of the pin in order to cure one or a plurality of tenons 3.
