Abstract:

To provide a composite antifouling coating film that is excellent in adhesion to an old coating film and can be applied directly onto an old coating film to be coated for repair or to be recoated and that is excellent in economy and working efficiency and provide an antifouling method.

The composite antifouling coating film is formed by laminating, on the surface of (A) at least one antifouling coating film formed from an antifouling coating comprising a copolymer containing a component unit derived from a polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid metal salt, (B) at least one antifouling coating film formed from an antifouling coating comprising a copolymer containing a component unit derived from a polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid silyl ester.
