Abstract:
To obtain a low-cost cast product with a complicated shape by enabling the use of a solidification speed region not attained with a die or a sand die alone.SOLUTION: There is provided a composite die provided with a metallic die and a sand die molded by using a sand lamination process, and is obtained by pasting the sand die to the die surface composing the space part of the die. Also there is provided a cast production method using a composite die where a molten metal is cast to the composite die obtained by pasting the sand die to the die surface composing the space part of the die to produce a cast product.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
