To provide a composite woven fabric having a combination of unique glossy feeling, drape property and refreshingly cool feeling each inherent in cellulose acetate filament yarn with puffy feeling and processing stability each inherent in polyester filament yarn, and free from fluffs on its surface after undergoing dyeing finish.

The composite woven fabric comprises composite yarns each comprising a cellulose acetate filament yarn (A) and a polyester filament yarn (B); wherein the composite ratio A/B is (70:30) to (95:5), the filament count of A is larger than that of B, and the filament count of B is 2-10.
