The present invention provides the composition having neutral fat-lowering action and/or cholesterol-lowering action and containing a dried and pulverized material of a germinated product (sprout) obtained by germinating seeds of a plant as an active ingredient and provides a method for producing the composition, and further provides a neutral fat-lowering and/or cholesterol-lowering agent containing the composition.
