PURPOSE: To eliminate the problems of pollution and to enhance stability by compounding a mixture composed of octafluorocyclobutane and difuroethane to a reinforcing liquid, mechanically producing bubbles contg. a wetting agent, etc., thereby preparing the compsn. for injecting an aerosol fire extinguishing agent.
CONSTITUTION: The compsn. for injecting the aerosol fire extinguishing agent is prepd. by compounding the octafluorocyclobutane (CFC C318) and the difluroethane (CFC 152a) with the aq. fire extinguishing compsn., such as reinforcing liquid and mechanical bubbles contg. the swelling agent. The mixing ratio of the compsn. mixture is adequately confined below the region of 95vol.% CFC C318 as an incombustible gas and above 5vol.% CFC 152a. Since the CFC 152a is a combustible gas with its combustion range of 5.1 to 17.0vol.% (in the case of air) but has a low combustibility, up to 40vol.% is the incombustible range when compounded with the CFC C318.
