Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fractalkine (FKN) antibody and a FKN binding fragment of the antibody as a therapeutic drug for inflammatory intestinal diseases with the view that the FKN is induced on the surface of an endothelial cell by inflammation inducing cytokine and is a promising therapeutic target for inflammatory intestinal diseases.SOLUTION: A humanized antibody or a chimeric antibody and a FKN binding fragment thereof binds to FKN comprising CDR-H1, H2, H3, L1, L2 and L3 comprising a specific amino acid sequence. A pharmaceutical composition for inflammatory intestinal diseases comprises the humanized antibody and a FKN binding fragment thereof. Also provided is a therapeutic method therefor.
