PURPOSE: To obtain an aerosol moose or liquid spray type composition for preliminarily washing cloth having excellent removing characteristic to a wide range of dirt, which contains specified nonionic surface active agent mixture, hydrocarbon solvent and higher fatty acid salt in specified ratios.

CONSTITUTION: This composition is an aqueous transparent, homogenous composition containing (A) 1-20% of a surface active agent mixture of (i) an ethoxylated nonionic surface active agent having an HLB less than 10 and (ii) an ethoxylated nonionic surface active agent having an HLB of 10 or more in a mixing ratio of 3:1-1:3; (B) 1-30% of hydrocarbon solvent such as deodorized kerosine, solvent Naphtha or terpene; and (C) 1-20% of a 12-22C fatty acid salt. Further, 0.5-20% of a coupling agent such as a 1-4C alkanol is preferably mixed thereto.
