PURPOSE: To improve the visual recognition property and extraction property of each print output by providing a control means for changing the storing position of the sheet bundle storing means of the print output per each function of a copy machine, FAX and a computer.
CONSTITUTION: Data sent from a copy machine to a controller 900 are a paper supply signal for urging the supply of a manuscript, a paper discharge signal for urging the discharge of the manuscript and a paper supply/discharge mode for deciding the form of the supply/discharge of the manuscript. Data sent from the copy machine to a sorter controller 1000 are an image forming mode, a mode and a sheet size stored in a sorter and a timing signal. During operation, data showing which function of an outer device controller 3 is used is reported from a reader controller 1 and a printer controller 2 to the controller 900 and the sorter controller 1000. The outer device controller 3 is connected to the reader controller 1 by a cable and the control of the signal and the control of each function are carried out by a core part 10 in the outer device controller 3.
