To avoid enlargement of a device and to restrain shortening of longevity of the device in the case of causing slight slippage at the time of assembly on the composite moving device and the carrier device free to make a moving body work in the rotating direction and in the rectilinear direction.
A rod 5 is provided on an air cylinder 4 of the carrier device 1 free to rise and sink, and an intermediate shaft 7 is provided through a ball joint 6 on its head end. A hollow type spline shaft 12 is externally inserted in a circumference of the intermediate shaft 7, and the intermediate shaft 7 is fixed on the upper end side of the spline shaft 12 on its upper end part side. A spline nut 14 having a recessed part free to be engaged with a tooth is externally fitted in a circumference of the spline shaft 12, and a direct drive motor 16 is connected to the nut 14 through a connecting member 15. An arm 21 is installed on an upper end part of the spline shaft 12. It is possible to absorb stress in accordance with sagging of the intermediate shaft 7 even in the case when nonconformity of the axes with each other at the time of rectilinear motion by an assembly error, etc., is caused.
