Abstract:

To provide a synthesis reaction catalyst which effectively expresses the activity of palladium and can economically synthesize a compound, and a method for synthesizing a compound using the synthesis reaction catalyst.

In the Heck coupling reaction given by formula (8), a palladium-containing perovskite-type complex catalyst which is represented by formula (1): Ln2MyCu1-x-yPdxO4±δand has a specific surface area of more than 0.5 m2/g and not more than 30 m2/g is used as a synthesis reaction catalyst.
