PURPOSE: To improve productivity by realizing the next drilling during the cutting-off processing of a material by providing on a bed a flange drill unit and a web drill unit movable in a work conveying direction, providing at the same time a material delivery unit upstream of the bed.

CONSTITUTION: A material 12 such as H form steel is conveyed in a right direction by means of a carrying-in device 2, and is carried into the lower part of a flange drill unit 6 and a web drill unit 5 made to stop in the vicinity of the origin. When the carrying-in of the material 12 is detected by means of a material detector 13, the material 12 is fixed with the clamps 15a of a delivery unit 15, and at the same time drilling in the web 12a of the material 12 is conducted by operating the web drill unit 5 by a command from NC. Next, drilling on the flange 12b of the material 12 is conducted on the basis of the detection outcome of the material detector 14 by means of the flange drill unit 6, and afterwards, when the tip of the material 12 to be conveyed butts against the contacter 21a of a side long unit 21, sizing cutting-off is carried out by clamping the material 12.
