Abstract:
To provide a compression joint plate grained timber with non-occurrence of splits and cracks during compression in even a grained timber having knots and grain parts, and a method for manufacturing the compression joint plate grained timber.SOLUTION: A compression joint plate grained timber 10 is configured in such a manner that a joint plate grained timber, in which at least two grained timbers are joined to each other so that an outermost surface becomes a flat grain face, is heated and compressed from the outermost surface side.
