Title:
PRESSURE-CLAMPING METHOD OF SYNTHETIC RESIN LIQUID-IMPREGNATED WOOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07195312
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a reinforced wood having smooth surface by fitting a synthetic resin liquid-impregnated wood in a recess to its full width of a heat cooling mold, pushing the heat cooling mold with heat so as to press the wood, and cooling the heat cooling mold under the pressing.

CONSTITUTION: A veneer or a bonding material of a synthetic resin liquid- impregnated wood W is set in a recess 1a of a first heat cooling mold 1 to its full width. Heating of the first and second heat cooling molds 1 and 2 are started. When the heat becomes about 130-180°C, it is held in a constant heat, either of the heat cooling molds is pushed, and the synthetic resin liquid- impregnated wood W is pressed by a board receive section 1b and a protruding face 2a. When the pressure comes to be about between 60-300kg/cm2, it is held in a fixed pressure, and the pressing is continued in that state for about 30-40 minutes. At this time, tendency of the fibers of the wood W to expand in the cross direction is restrained by side walls 1c of the recess 1a so as to prevent generation of fiber breakdown phenomenon. By keeping the pressing condition as it is, the first and second heat cooling molds 1 and 2 are cooled.
