To provide a compressor control apparatus that can reduce the time needed to overcome refrigerant liquefaction.
A compressor 11 includes a motor M1 having a winding and a compression mechanism 111 to be driven by the motor M1 to compress a coolant. A motor driving part 50 applies a desired voltage to the motor M1. A leakage current detection part 51 detects a leakage current generated in the motor M1. A control part 52 controls the motor driving part 50 such that an operation to overcome refrigerant liquefaction can be started to reduce an amount of refrigerant liquefied in the compressor 11 before a normal operation of the compressor 11 is started to compress the refrigerant and then terminates the operation to overcome refrigerant liquefaction when the leakage current is a reference value or below.
