Abstract:

To provide an exhaust gas heat exchanger in which as swirling current by protruded tabs of fins largely promotes heat transfer, a heat exchange ratio can be improved.

The exhaust gas heat exchanger includes: tubes 10 that form exhaust gas flow paths 11 through each of which the exhaust gas ejected from an internal combustion engine flows; fins 12 provided in the exhaust gas flow paths 11; and the protruded tabs 15 provided in one of the tubes 10 and the fins 12 and protruded to inhibit the flow of the exhaust gas. Each of the protruded tabs 15 has a polygonal shape having four or more sides and at least a bottom side 16, a pair of right and left lateral sides 17, 18. An angle between the one lateral side 17 and the bottom side 16 is set to be smaller than an angle between the other lateral side 18 and the bottom side 16, and to be smaller than 90 degrees.
